Week 27 Pregnancy
Today is the official mark of week 27. Its amazing how fast time runs. I can almost say the same thing about weight gain, although I am not complaining. I feel great and I am healthy which = happy&healthy baby :)
Unlike most woman I did not experience any nausea in the first trimester. I mainly lost my appetite- food just didn't taste the same, it was just blah and not tasty. What I remember most was running to the bathroom every 10 minutes! and feeling not so much energy. So all in all my first trimester was a breeze.
My Second trimester- which I just ended, was starting to feel like things were getting back to
normal. My energy levels were back to normal, and food started to taste good again. Things were great! The only annoying part was that I kept sneezing all the time and having to blow my nose. Unfortunately that hasn't gone away, and it feels like its actually getting worse.. go figure.
Ahhh, but lets not forget the back pain & lack of comfort during sleep. My upper back started killing me about 2 months back and not much would help relieve the nagging constant pain (well a nice back massage from the hubby didn't hurt :) I had the pain before, back in my college days and every so often at work, but not as often as now. My husband blames my "jungle purse" which I must admit is on the heavy side, and the side I carry it on (right) is the side where my back does hurt.
Before getting pregnant I attended Pilates and yoga classes, which helped relieve all my back pain pretty much. However, since I cant do those classes anymore, and because of the growing baby my back pain is in attack mode, and how! Its worse then ever and more frequent then ever!
So ladies, if you have back pain pre-pregnancy, trust me, it'll come back to haunt you,.. in my case, my jungle purse is haunting me now.
just go invest in a nice small cute purse, trust me this back pain is so not worth it. I think I will finally take my own advice, tomorrow or day after (I need to find that cute purse first!! :)

Review: Revlon Suede Lipstick
So I bought this lipstick in the color (Front Row) a beautiful pale pink. However I was very disappointed in the texture.
If you apply a lip balm or any lip product prior to putting this on, after it dries the lipstick starts to separate on your lips and it looks horrible, like you have crusty dry pink foam lips. Yuck!
Now, when I tired it separately, with no lip product on, it didn't separate as much, however after an hour of wear it mostly wears away and then you are stuck with pieces of the lipstick on the outer corners of your mouth which looks horrible.
I tried putting gloss on it to "even it out" but ugh, it just doesn't work.
Overall- Don't waste your money. You will be disappointed. You shouldn't have to work so hard to make a lip product work.
Lovely color. but horrible ingredients. Really? don't they test this stuff before releasing it out to the public???

I love this mascara! It's stays put like a waterproof yet you can easily wash it off with face wash unlike waterproof mascaras where half your eyelashes come off. Love! ♥

Baby room decor 101
Its that time again, where I find myself searching hundreds(okay, not really hundreds) of websites for designing a bedroom (baby room).
I don't want to color my walls a pungent traditional color, such as pink for a girl or blue for a boy. I mean really, the kid is going to grow out of that decor soon enough and then your stuck with this headache awful color.
No, what I want is a a modern take, with lovely wallpaper, and accessories that will fit with the baby decor and naturally progress to blend into a more mature modern room which does not bear resemblance and screams"Hey Look at me!, look at my ugly walls, with animal prints!"
Really parents, why don't you think ahead? ? I guess you have too much time on your hands to keep doing these house projects every so often.
(Disclaimer- Parents who did/plan on doing the blue/pink walls, and do a whole themed baby room- its really cute (in the beginning) but later on when the kid grows up, YOU will be the one stuck with the job of repainting the room and buying new decor). So, in the end, I say, ENJOY & Au Revoir! (you have been warned).
